Do your personal CDs, DVDs, CD-ROMs, and video game discs look like this picture?  Bring them to Jet for resurfacing.  Our professional-grade scratch remover will buff down the protective plastic coating over the disc's data, and in most cases will restore at least 90% of their readability.  We charge $1 for every 2 minutes we run our machine.  That is sufficient for light to moderate damage, but more heavily damaged discs may require additional time.  But it's still much cheaper than buying a new disc!
